Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using Ensemble (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ensemble. By using the App, you confirm you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit use by, or process data of, anyone under 18.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for your account and keeping your login secure.
• You may sign in with email or a supported third-party sign-in (e.g. Google).
• You must provide accurate information, including your date of birth.
• We may require you to verify your email address (via a confirmation link) to activate or continue using your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Upload, create, or share content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, abusive, hateful, or harmful.
• Upload nude, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate images of any person.
• Upload images of any person under 18, or any image that sexualises a minor.
• Upload photos of other people without their consent.
• Attempt to bypass safety systems, usage limits, or security controls.
• Use the App for any illegal purpose, or to harass, impersonate, or harm others.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the App or its AI features.

We use automated and manual safety systems to detect and prevent prohibited content. We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms.

5. AI-generated content and limitations

• Ensemble uses AI to catalogue clothing, generate cut-outs, suggest outfits, render virtual try-on images, recolour garments, and rate outfits.
• AI features are provided "as is" and may be imperfect. Results are for informational and styling purposes only and may not be accurate.
• Virtual try-on and recolour images are AI-generated approximations and may not reflect how garments actually look, fit, or are coloured in reality.
• Do not rely on AI outputs as professional advice.

6. Your content

• You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload.
• You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the App's features to you (including via the third-party AI processors named in the Privacy Policy).
• We do not claim ownership of your wardrobe content and do not sell it.

7. Subscriptions, usage limits, and purchases

• The App offers a free tier with limits on certain AI features, and paid auto-renewing subscription tiers (Style, Studio, and Max) with higher monthly allowances, plus optional one-time credit packs and bundles.
• Billing is through Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. We never receive or store your card details.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew at the then-current price each month until you cancel. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Pricing varies by region/currency and the exact price, billing period, and the allowances of each tier are shown in the App at the point of purchase before you confirm.
• How to cancel. You can cancel anytime in Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions (also reachable via "Manage subscription" in the App's Settings). Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep your subscription benefits until the end of the current paid period. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Top-up packs and bundles (e.g. additional render or cutout credits) are one-time, non-renewing consumable purchases. They are added to your account on purchase, are used after your monthly allowance, and do not expire. Consumable credits are non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Play's refund policies. Subscription and purchase records are held by Google Play and RevenueCat.

8. Termination

• You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account).
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for legal/safety reasons.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on AI outputs.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, will note material changes, and will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
